About me:

Dr Ratnakumar joined College Road Practice in 2024. He works at the practice on Mondays and Fridays and brings a wealth of innovative ideas gained from working across a variety of GP practices and healthcare settings.

Dr Ratnakumar has a particular interest in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and is our Designated Safeguarding Lead, helping to ensure that the safety, wellbeing, and individual needs of our patients remain at the heart of our care. He as Diploma from the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine. His learning acquired from this, supports the practice in maintaining the highest level of ethical decision making and ensuring the safety of all our patients.

He particularly enjoys urgent and same-day care, as well as caring for children and adolescents helping them to stay healthy and access the right support when needed.

He also has a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists to provide support for any specific female health concerns.

Dr Ratnakumar  is also passionate about using technology to improve healthcare, making it easier for patients to access appropriate medical advice and services. He is committed to improving access and ensuring that our services are inclusive, patient-centred, and responsive to the needs of our diverse community.

At College Road Practice, Dr Ratnakumar works closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care with a commitment to continuous improvement of the services we offer our patients.
